National Childhood Obesity Month

Children with obesity are more likely to have obesity as adults. Obesity can lead to lifelong physical and mental health problems. Help your child maintain a healthy weight by ensuring your child:

  • Gets the recommended 60 minutes of physical activity each day
  • Limit juice, soda, and other sugary drinks
  • Eat nutritious, low-calorie, high-fiber foods
  • Maintain a healthy sleep schedule
  • Sees their doctor regularly for their well-child assessments
