FAQs

Got Questions about Coverage? We’ve Got Answers.

Applying for insurance or setting up your first health center visit can feel confusing. Here are our most frequently asked questions:

Who can get help enrolling?

Anyone—patients and non‑patients alike—can get free enrollment support for Medi‑Cal, Covered California, Medicare, CalFresh, and CalWORKs.

What documents or information do I need?

You’ll need ID, income/employment info (like pay stubs or tax returns), Social Security or immigration documents, and insurance ID if renewing. We’ll walk you through the list.

Can I change plans outside of open enrollment?

Yes — qualifying life events (new job, income change, birth, etc.) allow enrollment year‑round. Medi‑Cal is open all year.

Do I have to be an Omni patient to get help?

Not at all — our enrollment help is FREE and available to anyone in Kern, Kings, Tulare, or Fresno counties.
