Mark A. Millán, MSHA, joined Omni Family Health in January 2016 as Director of Operations. In January 2019 Mark was appointed Interim Chief Operations Officer (COO). Three months later, Mr. Millán became a permanent member of the Executive Team as COO in April 2019. Mr. Millán has worked in leadership roles within Community Health Centers across the Central Valley and in the Pacific Northwest. Having grown up as a farmworker in a bi-cultural household and harvesting crops in California, Washington, and Oregon− Mr. Millán understands first-hand the importance of accessible quality healthcare and services for all. In addition, Mr. Millán was appointed to the National Association of Committee Health Centers (NACHC) Committee on Agricultural Health in 2019. Mr. Millán believes in working with organizations that strive to deliver the best service possible and is committed to continual growth and quality improvement. Furthermore, Mr. Millán holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management from Trident University. He has completed a Health Care Executive Program from the UCLA Anderson School of Business, being the only candidate chosen to participate from the state of Oregon in 2002. Over the span of 25 years, Mr. Millán has held community health leadership roles which have further strengthened his beliefs and values. As a consultant, he provided improvement services at various Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. Specifically, in Kona, Hawaii, he assisted in opening the first FQHC in the area, West Hawaii Community Health Center. In his leisure time, Mr. Millán enjoys exploring the Hawaiian Islands, gardening, exercise, healthy living, and the great outdoors.
