Nassef Henein, M.D., Chief Medical Officer (CMO) joined the organization in 1998. He obtained his degree in Medicine at Ain Shams Faculty of Medicine, Cairo, Egypt in 1973 and completed his internal medicine residency at Northeastern PA Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1998. American board certified internal Medicine 2000. He holds licenses in California, Alabama and Pennsylvania. Dr. Henein brings more than 35 years of experience in family and internal medicine. His research and publications on atherosclerosis provides a valuable perspective, enabling him to address chronic disease issues for population sub-groups. In 1995, his research on the CAD/Rationale and design of Felodipine Atherosclerosis Prevention Study (FAPS) was published in the American Journal of Cardiology. Dr. Henein is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Egyptian Medical Association, and the Egyptian College of Surgeon.
