Aurora Cooper Biography

Aurora Cooper, MBA, PHR Chief Human Resources Officer joined Omni Family Health in September 2008 as the Director of Human Resources. She was appointed as the Chief Human Resource Officer three years later in 2011. Ms. Cooper brings over 11 years of experience in the field of human resources. As the Chief Human Resources Officer she guides and manages the overall provision of Human Resources services, policies, and programs for the entire organization which employs over 300 individuals in 16 health centers. Prior to her work with OFH, she worked for over four years with the Bakersfield City School District in the Human Resources Department and served in the United States Army for three years.

Ms. Cooper obtained a Master’s in Business Administration in 2008 from the University of La Verne and her Bachelors in Human Resources/Management from Park University. She holds a certificate from the Managing Human Resources Certificate Program from California State University in Bakersfield and is Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certified. Ms. Cooper is a member of National SHRM and local Kern Chapter. Among her many awards are the Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Metal and Army Achievement Medal.
